Jerry Ramirez is a radio personality on 107.3FM. Jerry, also known as Jay Ram, has been with 107.3FM since 2016. Prior to that he was working on his craft by creating podcasts over a span of 10 years. His love for radio began when he was introduced to a syndicated show from New York called Opie and Anthony. Listening to that show and recently purchasing a Mac mini gave him the tools he needed to start his own podcast. He honed his skill through various podcasts.
At 107.3FM, Jerry was invited to guest host Coffee and Magic. He was invited to come back a few more times until he eventually was a permanent character on the show. After a couple of year, Jerry pitched a show called 2 Hour Indie Power (2HIP) and shortly after pitched 90s at 9. Now he hosts two shows that have been going on for over 4 years.
DR. ARTHUR SOTO-VASQUEZ
Dr. Arthur D. Soto-Vásquez is an Assistant Professor of Communication at Texas A&M International University. He studies the relationship between digital media, popular culture, and identity making.
His first book is entitled Mobilizing the Latinx Vote: Media, Identity, and Politics, published by Routledge in 2020. His current projects cover U.S. Latinx political identity, misinformation, influencers, and consumer culture. He has presented his research at the University of Oxford, the Università degli Studi di Milano, and the International Communication Association.
He received his PhD from the American University and is from El Paso, Texas. He is an active Rotarian and board member of the Laredo Film Society.
Eliseo "Eli" Ceja is the Public Information Officer for the City of Laredo Health Department He currently oversees the development of the department's media efforts, coordinates community partnerships, and serves as the spokesperson of the department.
Eli is a candidate for a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He currently holds a Bachelor's Degree from Texas State University in Public Relations and Mass Communications.
Eli also serves on the board of directors for Laredo BorderSlam Poetry, a non-profit organization promoting literacy and spoken word poetry. He’s a lead trainer in the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program and a New Leaders Council alumni. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, listening to NPR and podcasts, and spending time with his wife and three dogs.

Thomas Robert "T. Rob" Brown is an instructional assistant professor of visual communication at Texas A&M International University in Laredo.
He spent more than 20 years as a professional journalist and photojournalist in the daily newspaper business in the Midwest. On the side, he freelanced on four tabletop roleplaying game books; two of which were for Hasbro/Wizards of the Coast in the Star Wars Saga Edition and two for Margaret Weis Productions in the Marvel Heroic Roleplaying line.
Brown is a Pultizer-nominated photographer with about 40 professional regional and state awards. He also served as a freelance photographer for The Kansas City Star, the Associated Press and writes the Monthly Movies column for Dvino Magazine in Laredo.
